First time using Rabbies and travelling to Wales. The experience was brilliant given that service from our guide Dan was top notch and Wales is really a beautiful, historical and cultural place. Being a local, Dan was extremely familiar with local Welsh culture and landscape, sharing with us many aspects of Welsh life that may not have been apparent if we self drive. He even let us try different local cuisine. We saw many lovely places but a shame we did not have as much time to explore and frequently had to eat lunch on the go. Really opened up my eyes to this nation with its distinct identity from rest of UK. Kudos to Dan for taking time and effort to go the extra mile to ensure our needs were met, including toilet stops, recommending great eateries and even letting us try local cheese and lava bread. Even though it was just our family of 4 and 1 lone traveller for the tour, he made effort to answer all our questions and made us feel at home in Wales.

My wife and I chose an off-season trip to Wales and we weren't disappointed with this selection. Things were a bit slow in towns as it was offseason. But, we had a wonderful trip out to the western parts of the United Kingdom. Our driver, Russ, made it fun with discussions of the history of places were would visit so as to prepare us for our stops in places like the Cotswold (Castle Combe), Snowdon Park, Harlech castle, St. David's Cathedral, and Pembroke castle to name a few stops. Russ improvised with stops depending on the weather at wonderful out of the way stops such as Talley Abbey and Carreg Cennen Castle. Places that most of us would not know to go to visit! We let Rabbies pick our hotels for the trip and they did not disappoint. We chose the 3 star hotel option. In Aberystwyth, our room looked immediately out on the ocean and the hotel in Tenby was right on the ocean. Our group of folks got along well and many times smaller groups would go to dinner or lunch together.
Wales is stunning.

You get to visit/travel through many places in the 5 days. Our driver & guide Russell was the best, knowledgeable and personable. The hosts of the 2 B&B's we stayed in were lovely. I would highly recommend this tour.

The ‘Discover Wales’ trip was fantastic - beyond my expectations. What a beautiful and interesting country Wales is! Our tour guide, Russ, was very professional and worked hard to ensure everyone in our small group of nine felt welcome. We learnt heaps about the history and culture of Wales along the way with well designed stopping points and mini talks on the bus. We chose the B&B option and the Welsh hospitality was exceptional - the rooms were clean and comfortable and the breakfasts ample. Would highly recommend this one.

Absolutely a wonderful tour with our guide Nick. He was very knowledgeable and a great and very personable guide. The scenery in Wales was magnificent. The B&B’s we stayed in were very warm and inviting with wonderful hosts. Just loved having a full English while looking out at the sea. Location couldn’t have been any better.
I would definitely recommend this tour to anyone going to Wales and would definitely go back to the B&B’s we stayed in.
