The Stories Are True

This is by far one of the best tours I've been on in the UK. From discovering the secret place in West Kennet Long Barrow with a lot of myth surrounding it to taking walks in Avebury just a short drive away, and ending the day at the amazingly famous Stonehenge.
Enjoyed seeing historic sites

We enjoyed seeing the sites that the tour included. We have read about them, but seeing was a terrific experience.

Very informative and enjoyable

Michael the guide was informative, and was able to not only talk about the three sites we visited, but was also able to point out parts of British history along the drive. He had a friendly demeanor and was able to answer all our questions. The three sites are also thematically linked, and while Stonehenge is the big ticket item, West Kennet and Avebury were also enjoyable. Only note i need to make is that their is a bit of walking, particularly on dirt/grass, so wear comfy and appropriate shoes.
Would be perfect with a bit more time

The order of the stops was perfect but we could have used about a half hour longer at Stonehenge to see the visitor center exhibits, and a quick stop at Woodhenge would have been nice as well. It would have made a longer day but it would be worth it - the Stonehenge visitor center wasn’t closing when we left.
